Mark Valade, operations manager, manages the day-to-day operations and overseeing an inventory that boasts many of the finest audio products in the industry. With more than 30 years of experience in home audio, Valade's ongoing passion for his hobby-turned-profession offers the consumer rare insights into an ever-changing market. He simplifies not only the buying, but also the selling process in that he is one of the few retailers to also offer a consignment program. Joe Silva, Lead Tech/Sales/Programmer is our most versatile employee and wears many hats here. Not only is he our lead programmer for remote controls and automation, he is our first choice as a technician that has both the knowledge and skill to set up your system, whether it be for Home Theater, Stereo or Video. This knowledge allows him a special insight into discussing products here at our retail store as well. His patience and ability to troubleshoot problems is a one of a kind skill.
Mark Mathena, lead technician, is another 20-year veteran and an expert in turning our customers' dreams of the ultimate home theatre into reality. With his impeccable attention to detail, Mathena strives for perfection in projects as basic as simple hookups to more elaborate custom home theatres.
Justin Warren is our talented partner in DSS Hawaii, located on the big island of Hawaii. After eight years working with us throughout the San Diego area, Justin realized the potential of opening a location to service the growing demand for quality audio-visual sales and installations in Hawaii. He returned to Kona, where he was born and raised, and launched DSS Hawaii with Mark Anderson.
